Carter Academy for Performing and Visual Arts is dedicated to nurturing creative thinkers who value the arts throughout their lives. Children explore and cultivate their talents in Musical training, Orchestra, Visual Arts, Dance, and Drama. Our vision is to build a community that fosters inclusivity, respect, and collaboration, where students feel safe to take risks and express themselves authentically. It is our goal to provide a challenging, enriching education that equips every student for success in college, career, and life. Our teachers use an arts-integrated curriculum that fosters engaging learning for all students. Our students collaborate, create, and showcase their comprehension of various cultural experiences within the Arts. Schoolwide performances and community partnerships highlight cultural understanding. These opportunities instill a deep appreciation for the arts, making our students lifelong learners.
